Increasing Revenue Per Lawyer

On Tuesday, October 4 at 2:00 p.m. EST, the Center for Competitive Management will be hosting a 75-minute audio conference seminar on management tactics and client attraction methods being used to bolster revenue per lawyer and gross revenues at law firms.

Among other things, this course will examine:

  • How to build a culture where client-focus is king;
  • Why big mergers and other supposed ‘revenue up’  acquisitions don’t always work to the firm’s benefit;
  • Ways that firms are using differentiation, to distinguish themselves in the market;
  • How encouraging broader associate involvement can benefit your firm now;
  • Why pressure on partners is not a bad thing, and when to apply it;
  • Pitfalls and best practices for lateral mobility and hiring; and
  • Pro bono or No bono- why less may not be more.

The faculty presenters for this conference will be yours truly and Catherine Alman MacDonagh, published author, former in-house counsel, and former president of the Legal Sales and Service Organization.

Readers of this blog who are interested in participating can go to the C4CM Web page, and enter the discount code “JOC50” to obtain $50 off of the registration fee for the event.

Catherine and I look forward to this conference, and hope you will join us.
